I was Board Certified in both General (adult) and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. I am eligible for re-certification by passing an exam and paying some fees.
Verify it here by entering my name in the search box. https://application.abpn.com/verifycert/verifyCert.asp?a=1
I let my certifications lapse because the Board has made the Maintenance of Certification process very time-consuming and I'd rather focus my energy on serving my patients well. The MOC process isn't relevant to clinical practice, but it does enrich the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology quite lot. The CEO's salary is more than $1,000,000.00.
I am licensed to practice medicine in Maine. I have an absolutely clean record with the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine. Check it here: http://www.docboard.org/me/df/mesearch.htm
I have been working in children's mental health since 1988
I like learning. I went to school for 22 years and have 6 years of postgraduate training. I still believe the most important lessons are learned in Kindergarten.
I didn't put much personal information on this page because our therapeutic relationship is going to be about you.
My favorite joke - so corny and yet so true:
How many Psychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb?
Only one, but the light bulb really has to want to change!
